Fantasy Land of Fairies

WELCOME TO THE WONDERFUL LAND OF THE FAIRIES
Have you ever watched the fairies when the rain is done, Spreading out their little wings to dry them in the sun? I have, I have! Isn't it fun? Have you heard the little fairies all among the green, Singing little fairy songs to the beat of little wings? Have you seen the little fairies dancing in the air, Then dashing off behind a star to tidy up their hair? I have, I have, I've been there! (Rose Fyleman) THE ROAD TO FAIRYLAND Do you seek the road to Fairyland? I'll tell; it's easy, quite. Wait till a yellow moon gets up O'er purple seas by night, And gilds a shining pathway That is sparkling diamond bright Then, if no evil power be nigh, To thwart you, out of spite, And if you know the very words To cast a spell of might. You get upon a thistledown, And, if the breeze is right, You sail away to Fairyland Along this track of light! (Ernest Thompson Seton)
